Social Communication Groups

Polaris Speech's Social-Communication Groups provides an engaging environment to support your cognitive-communication skills. Whether you've had a stroke, brain injury or have Dementia, Parkinson's Disease, or any other neurological disorder, you're welcome to come, relax and participate in our wellness programs to stimulate cognition and utilize strategies for clear speech. Each week is facilitated by either a Speech-Language Pathologist for Music Therapist to encourage growth and support of your cognitive-communication skills.

Amy Larocca, MA, CCC-SLP is the owner and lead Speech-Language Pathologist at Polaris Speech & Neurological Rehabilitation. She brings 15 years of clinical and teaching experience to her patients and specializes in treating patients with neurological diseases and orofacial myofunctional disorders. She provides evidence-based, patient and family-centered care.  Additionally, she helps to connect you to resources, online and throughout Northeast Ohio, to support your quality of life..
