Myo Therapy at Polaris Speech is an interdisciplinary approach for adults and children to retrain the muscles in your face and mouth to improve strength and function of the muscles.  This collaborative approach can help reduce sleep apnea, snoring, grinding, and jaw pain as well as improve chewing, eating and drinking.

SPEAK OUT!® &
LOUD Crowd®

We offer a two-part speech therapy program to help individuals with Parkinson’s regain and maintain effective communication: SPEAK OUT!® followed by The LOUD Crowd®. 

 

SPEAK OUT!® is a 3 day a week program for 4 weeks which places emphasis on speaking with intent and converting speech from an automatic function to an intentional act. The LOUD Crowd® is group maintenance therapy that focuses on maintaining speech clarity in a fun, social environment. 

LSVT LOUD®

Lee Silverman Voice Therapy is an intensive speech therapy program for people with Parkinson's Disease to help increase the volume and clarity of their speech.  

LSVT LOUD is a 4 day a week program for 4 weeks that places emphasis on consistent and precise practice of a LOUD voice to retrain the brain to produce and monitor an effectively loud speaking volume more automatically.

McNeil Dysphagia
Therapy Program

We offer intensive, exercise-based therapy for swallowing deficits to improve the function, coordination and safety while eating and drinking.  This program focuses on the progressive strengthening and refinement of the swallowing process through eating and drinking various textures in a mediated method.
